Hilton’s summer 2022 promotion is now live. Members can earn:

Worth It?
You earn a extra 5% rebate on stays of 1-2 nights and 10% on stays of 3+ nights. For long, expensive stays, this promotion can be quite lucrative.
Marriott Bonvoy
Marriott’s first promotion of 2022 will end on May 4, 2022. Members can earn double elite status credit and 1,000 bonus points per night.
Worth It?
1,000 bonus points per night is worth roughly $6-8. For an inexpensive stay, this can be a reasonable bonus. But for expensive stays you won’t be happy with the % rebate.
The double elite night element will be very attractive to those readers chasing Marriott elite status.
IHG Rewards
IHG is offering a promotion for the first half of May that appears to be targeted, but seems open to most members.
Worth It?
Since IHG points are worth 0.4-0.5 cents each, 2,000 points per night (on average) is worth $8-10.
World of Hyatt
World of Hyatt does not have a chain-wide promotion running at the time of publication.
Bottom Line
For hotel stays for most of May, Hilton Honors is your only serious option. Perhaps Hyatt or Marriott will announce something later on in the month…
