Radisson Rewards Americas still exists… despite the hotels being purchased by Choice Hotels last year. Promotions are needed, therefore, to keep members engaged. Between January 10 and March 20, 2023, Radisson Rewards Americas members can earn 5,000 points per stay.

• All 600+ Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Radisson Individuals, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson hotels in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean are participating
• You can earn up to 100,000 bonus points (i.e. 20 stays – which, as always, are defined as one or more nights at the same hotel, irrespective of the number of times you check in and out…)
• Qualifying stays require booking directly with Radisson at a points-earning. eligible rate, which therefore rules out award nights and Points + Cash redemptions

Bottom Line

It is hard to get excited about Radisson Rewards Americas. With very few aspirational properties among the 600+ hotels involved, it is hard to find a reason to collect Radisson points. 5,000 points does sound like a lot, but they are only worth $15 or so…

But for the adventurous, one can only assume that Radisson Rewards Americas will be merged into Choice Privileges at some point. With a Choice point worth approximately 2-3x more than a Radisson point, you might want to accumulate Radisson points with the hope that a very favorable conversion ratio will eventually be offered…
