It didn’t take long for members of Miles & More and Swiss TravelClub to take advantage of the recent acquisition of the Swiss carrier by Lufthansa.

TravelClub members can now earn miles on all Lufthansa flights, and can redeem TravelClub miles for Lufthansa awards.

Similarly, members of Miles & More can earn award and status miles on Swiss-operated flights and book award flights with Swiss. Members of Swiss Circle and Swiss Travel-Club Gold may use Lufthansa Senator Lounges when flying with Lufthansa. In return, Hon Circle members and Senators of the Miles & More program have access to Swiss First and Swiss Business Class lounges respectively when they fly Swiss.

These customers continue to qualify for extra baggage allowance, priority baggage handling and accelerated boarding on both Swiss and Lufthansa flights. Services should be further extended when Swiss joins the Star Alliance (summer 2006).
