Marriott Bonvoy has released details of the promotion that will run from February 7th until April 23rd, 2023.
Members can earn:
- 1,000 bonus points per night
- Double elite night credits

With Marriott Bonvoy promotions, only paid stays qualify. Cash + Points, Free Night Awards (certificates) and points redemptions DO NOT COUNT.
Is it Any Good?
A double elite night credit promotion certainly helps members interested in reaching Platinum status or higher. Platinum status requires 50 nights in a year. Titanium status requires 75 nights per year. When combined with one or more co-branded credit cards, you can pick up useful elite status quite quickly this winter/early spring!
However, 1,000 bonus points only works out to $7-8 per night. That might be a reasonable rebate on cheap hotel stays, but it certainly won’t incentivize you to choose Marriott for an expensive stay.
Bottom Line
Marriott ran a double elite night promotion in early 2022 as well. It must work well as a way of driving early-in-the-year stays from the status conscious…
