World of Hyatt has launched a bonus point promotion that will apply to 78 locations in East Asia and Australia. The promotion will run from May 16 until September 2, 2022.

World of Hyatt members can earn 1,000 points after every second night at a participating hotel. You can earn a maximum of 15,000 bonus points.

As always with Hyatt promotions, you can earn these bonus points even when redeeming points or spending free night certificates…

When you have finished registering, you should take a look at the full list of participating hotels. A quick glance suggests that Maldives and Australia / New Zealand are included, while China is excluded.  (apart from Hong Kong and Taiwan, which are included)

Bottom line

500 points per night is not going to incentivize a special trip to the region. But it’s a nice little bonus if you are already heading to Asia this summer…

And it should stack with any chain-wide promotion that Hyatt decides to offer.  (still waiting…)
