World of Hyatt has given us plenty of advance notice for its next bonus point promotion, to be called (as usual) Bonus Journeys. The promotion will run from July 20th until September 15th, 2021.

The promotion is very straightforward.  Members will earn triple points for their stays of 2 nights or longer…

How Good is This Offer?

World of Hyatt members earn 5 points per US dollar spent (pre-tax). With this bonus, you would earn an additional 10 points per US dollar spent.  At a typical value of 1.5-2.0 cents per point, you would be receiving an additional rebate of 15-20% on the room rate.

When added to the basic earning of 10.5 points per $ that a Globalist member with the co-branded credit card will earn, you could easily be looking at earning points worth 30-40% of your underlying room rate.  That’s a pretty impressive rebate!

However, the minimum length of stay requirements is undoubtedly annoying, as many people only stay one night at a time when they travel…
