How to Earn Up to 3,350 Free MileagePlus Miles

United Airlines Airbus A320-232

There are currently at least three offers available where you can earn up to 3,350 free MileagePlus miles — if you do not mind giving out your personal information while completing surveys and doing other activities which could require a significant amount of your time in some cases — leading to the question as to whether or not earning those miles are worth your time and effort.

To participate in the following offers, you must be a member of the United Airlines MileagePlus frequent flier loyalty program. Your participation is potentially a good way to keep your account active and top it off; as well as extend the expiration date of your miles by 18 months — regardless of how often you fly as a passenger on flights operated by United Airlines.

Download Prosper Daily

You can earn a quick 1,000 MileagePlus miles when you download and register with the Prosper Daily software application program for your portable electronic device.

Once you register for this offer by entering and submitting your surname, ZIP code and MileagePlus frequent flier loyalty program member number, you will be asked for your telephone number so that you will be sent a text with a link to download Prosper Daily, whose purpose is for you to stay on top of your finances and identity by tracking your monthly updated credit score and spending from all your bank, debit and credit card accounts while being alerted to suspicious transactions for your protection from identity theft.

You can also get your credit score completely free of charge — although there are other ways you can do that as well.

If you are concerned about submitting sensitive information other than your telephone number, you apparently are not required to give information pertaining to your credit cards or bank accounts in order to earn the MileagePlus miles.

Prosper Daily is a product of Prosper Marketplace, Incorporated, which purports to be the first peer-to-peer lending marketplace in the United States, with greater than two million members and over $6 billion in funded loans.

Award miles will be posted to your MileagePlus account six to eight weeks after registration; and you can take advantage of this offer only once. You apparently must be a legal resident of the United States to participate in this offer based on the information requested from you. Other terms and conditions apply.

Of the 46 ratings it has received at the Apple Store, 35 rate the software application program with five stars — the best rating. Only a few users have reported technological “glitches” with Prosper Daily.

This offer is effective through Thursday, June 30, 2016; and it is apparently the only one of this list of offers which has an expiration date.

Join MyPoints

Three days ago, Mike Friedman of InsideFlyer alerted to you in this article that you can earn a quick and easy 500 MileagePlus miles simply by registering and activating your MyPoints account…

…but you can earn 750 MileagePlus miles for supposedly doing the exact same thing, and then enjoy your membership for a minimum of 30 days.

You can earn an additional 1,000 MileagePlus bonus award miles when your qualifying purchases total $25.00 during your first 30 days of membership shopping via the Internet with any MyPoints partner, including — but not limited to — eBay, Groupon and Walmart. Exclusions apply; and this offer is only available to people who are not yet members of MyPoints.

MyPoints is a loyalty program where you can earn points by such activities as purchasing items through many partner merchants; clicking on links in e-mail messages which you receive; clipping coupons and using them; participating in surveys; purchasing gift cards; searching for information on the Internet; and watching videos — and you can redeem those points for rewards through numerous merchants.

This offer is apparently good until further notice, as no expiration date is given.

Join Opinion Miles Club

You can earn up to 600 MileagePlus miles today by joining Opinion Miles Club and completing a survey — but you must already be a MileagePlus card member or a Premier elite level status member who is a resident of the United States. If you are a resident of the United States who is not already a MileagePlus card member or a Premier elite level status member, you can earn at least 300 MileagePlus miles.

Your MileagePlus miles will not expire as long as you are actively completing surveys. On average, each survey should typically take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Every MileagePlus mile which you earn will be deposited into your United Airlines MileagePlus frequent flier loyalty program account automatically for you.

Opinion Miles Club is a free Internet survey community which was created exclusively for members of the United Airlines MileagePlus frequent flier loyalty program. The surveys that you can participate in help major corporations around the world make important decisions regarding the products and services used daily by people all over the world.

When you sign up, you will be asked to provide general information about yourself — such as name, e-mail address and gender. You will also be asked to provide additional information about yourself — such as address, date of birth, employment status, education level, and household income. This basic information allows Opinion Miles Club to provide you with survey opportunities which are appropriate for you.

This offer is apparently good until further notice, as no expiration date is given.

If you are eligible for these offers, then you may want to consider taking advantage of them — but if your time is limited and you are loathe to give out your personal information, you might be better off bypassing some or all of these offers.
