Hyatt’s Lucrative 75,000 Bonus Gold Passport Points Promotion

Hyatt Gold Passport is coming out with a great new promotion.

Between April 1, 2016 and June 30, 2016 you can register, stay, and earn up to 75,000 bonus Gold Passport points. It isn’t a targeted promotion, so everyone can participate.

Called, “Stay More, Play More” One Mile at a Time broke the news yesterday and View from the Wing got official confirmation from Hyatt about the promotion details.

A screengrab from One Mile at a Time’s post shows that the earning breakdown for stays is as follows:

– 5,000 bonus Gold Passport points after 5 nights
– 15,000 bonus Gold Passport points after 10 nights
– 30,000 bonus Gold Passport points after 15 nights
– 50,000 bonus Gold Passport points after 20 nights
– 75,000 bonus Gold Passport points after 25 nights

Hyatt Category 7 properties (the highest category) such as the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome and the Park Hyatt Sydney require 30,000 Gold Passport points for a free night. 5,000 Gold Passport points is a nice bonus, but 75,000 bonus Gold Passport points is enough to redeem for 2 nights at some of the most luxurious Hyatt properties in the world and still have points left over.

You can also redeem 25,000 points per night for 3 nights at a Category 6 property like the gorgeous Park Hyatt Vienna in Austria or for the ultimate beach holiday getaway at the Park Hyatt Hadahaa in the Maldives (which also happens to be travel expert Gary Leff’s favorite resort in the world).

This is a promotion that may prompt you to modify upcoming hotel stays to include more Hyatts. 25 nights is a lot for many people, but Hyatt promotions (and hotel promotions in general) are not as frequent recently since the economy is good and hotels don’t need to woo folks as much to stay.

At this time it looks like all Hyatt properties are participating in the promotion, and for someone doing business travel between April and June (or a family going on holiday after the kids are out of school) that needs a bunch of hotel nights anyhow the bonus is lucrative enough to consider staying a couple extra nights at a Hyatt to achieve one of the upper bonus levels.

Registration is now open, and here’s a link to register.

Do you plan to participate in “Hyatt’s Stay More, Play More” promotion? If so, where would you want to redeem once you’ve earned the bonus points?
