Etihad Airways and Jet Airways have extended their partnership and members of both programs can now enjoy reciprocal benefits when flying either carrier on qualifying flights. Jet Airways JetPrivilege Gold and Platinum members will be welcomed at dedicated airport check-in desks and enjoy priority baggage handling, airport lounge access and priority boarding. All JetPrivilege members will earn one tier point when flying Etihad and bonus JPMiles are offered for JetPrivilege elite members when flying Etihad: Silver members earn a 10 percent flight bonus, Gold earn 20 percent and Platinum earn 30 percent.

Etihad Guest Gold and Gold Elite members flying on Jet Airways will get priority check-in, priority baggage handling and airport lounge access. Flight bonuses are offered when flying Jet Airways: Etihad Guest Silver members will get a 10 percent bonus, Gold a 20 percent bonus and Gold Elite a 30 percent bonus. Excess baggage is also offered for Etihad Guest members flying on Jet Airways from 10kgs for Silver, 15kgs for Gold and 20kgs for Gold Elite. In addition, all Etihad Guest members are eligible to earn Etihad Guest tier miles/segments, including any class bonus, on all Jet Airways/JetKonnect marketed and operated flights.

Bottom line: Etihad Airways and Jet Airways recently expanded their codeshare agreement from 43 to 71 routes and are now offering expanded benefits for members of both programs. Not all flights qualify for the benefits.
