British Airways’ new subsidiary airline, OpenSkies, has begun service between New York (JFK) and Paris (Orly). By the end of 2009, the new airline plans to provide nonstop service between New York and Paris, Brussels, Milan, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. OpenSkies has a codeshare agreement with British Airways and participates in the Executive Club program. Executive Club members can redeem miles for OpenSkies flights and members flying on an OpenSkies flight will earn the same base miles, cabin bonus and tier bonus miles as British Airways flights. The only difference is that Executive Club members will not earn any elite-qualifying tier points on OpenSkies flights.
