As with any fully developed airline loyalty scheme, Delta’s SkyMiles program has plenty of non-airline partners. SkyMiles members can earn miles for staying at hotels, for renting cars, for shopping online, for using the program-affiliated credit card, for dining, and on and on.

To hammer home that point, Delta is offering bonus miles for transactions with its marketing partners.
Offer Details
Through June 30, Delta SkyMiles members can earn a one-time 1,000-mile bonus for every new mileage-earning transaction with any of SkyMiles’ non-airline partners (hotels, rental cars, dining, shopping, credit cards, and so on).
The “new” in this case means partners the member has not done business with between March 24, 2016, and March 23, 2017.
The offer does not apply to SkyMiles members residing in the Asia-Pacific region.
Registration is required.
Deal or No Deal
If you’re a Delta loyalist, you should already be taking advantage of the SkyMiles network to maximize your mileage-earning. Bonus miles for doing so are icing on the cake.
If you’re not invested in the Delta ecosystem, this promotion is just a reminder to maximize the partner-earning potential of your preferred program.
