Starting today, you are limited only by the duration of this promotion in terms of the number of free nights you can potentially receive with this promotion by Choice Hotels, as you can earn up to 8,000 Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program points — enough to redeem for a free night at greater than 1,500 participating hotel properties; although many require more for a free night — after each second qualifying stay through Tuesday, May 5, 2016.

In other words, stay two times and earn a free night with Choice Privileges — however, you must sign up and register for this promotion prior to checking out of the hotel during your first stay; and you must book your stay at a qualifying rate. Additionally, registration is now open — but only to you if you maintain an address in the United States and its territories and Canada.

Realize that after a second qualifying trip, you will be awarded a minimum of 5,000 and maximum of 8,000 bonus Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program points, depending on the number of base points earned from the two separate qualifying trips.

Regardless of how many times you check in or check out of a hotel property, it is still considered as only one stay. You must provide your member number when you check in at the hotel property; and you must set your earning preference to Choice Privileges points in your account.

If you have earned Elite Diamond and Elite Platinum status, you can book directly with a hotel or resort property; but if you book through the official Internet web site of Choice Hotels or use its mobile application software, you will receive a choice of 250 additional Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program points or a snack and beverage with every qualifying stay as an incentive.

If you book early, you can save up to 20 percent on room rates — with a minimum discount of at least 15 percent — but the reservation must be booked through the official Internet web site of Choice Hotels using your Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program account number and must be made at least 7, 14, 21 or 30 days in advance, which will vary based on the hotel property for which the reservation is being made. Be aware that you cannot change or cancel your reservation once it is booked, and the discounted rate is not refundable. Your credit card will be charged for the total reservation amount within 48 hours of booking your reservation. Rooms at this discount are limited; and this offer is not available to groups nor can it be combined with any other discount.

You must book your reservations via the official Internet web site of Choice Hotels, the Choice Hotels mobile software application program, or 800.4CHOICE at qualifying room rates. Corporate travelers may book through a corporate online booking system; a global distribution system; or with a travel agent.

Trips at vacation rental property locations and stays booked with the SEGEN rate code do not qualify for promotional bonus points. To be eligible to earn the bonus, you must set you earning preference to Choice Privileges points in your account. Any change implemented to your earning preference will remain in effect after the promotion has ended. If you would like to revert to earning airline miles or Amtrak Guest Rewards, you must reset your preference in your account. Please allow 72 hours from checking out of the hotel or resort property for points to post to your account; and points earned from stays at international locations can take up to 20 days to post to your account.

The same rates that are always eligible for Choice Privileges points are eligible for this promotion.

You earn Choice Privileges points for individual travel on the following rates: best available rate, advance purchase, corporate, VIP and net preferred, government rate, military rate, Travelers’ discount, AAA/CAA, PSCIEN, package rates, small organization savings, significant savings, senior rate, sports rate, CPSA, preferred customer savings rate, savings at work, negotiated rates (N) and select locally negotiated rate plans. Reservations booked via third party channels and at rates discounted greater than 20 percent are not eligible for this promotion.

The following rates are not eligible for earning Choice Privileges points: rooms booked through a third party or travel agents; rooms discounted greater than 20 percent; wholesale packages or senior tours; and complimentary rooms, paid for as part of a convention or meeting.
