Gulf Air Falconflyer members can now take advantage of instant seat upgrades to Falcon Gold at the airport when using miles. The request must be made at least two hours before departure to the duty manager or designated Gulf Air staff at the check-in counter and is subject to availability. Members can now also redeem miles for excess baggage at all airports across the Gulf Air network. The cost in miles starts at 1,500 miles and varies by flight zone and by multiples of 5kg excess baggage requested. Members can also spend 5,000 miles to visit the newly opened Falcon Gold lounge at Bahrain airport.
