Turkish Airlines is rolling out a new class of service called Comfort Class, which is a step above economy and will be featured on all 12 of the airline’s Boeing 777 aircraft by September 2011. The seat pitch in Comfort Class is 46 inches (compare to 32 inches in economy) and the seat configuration is 2-3-2. A USB and iPod connection is available and soon, Internet, GSM and broadcast TV will also be available.

Miles&Smiles members can upgrade to Comfort Class with miles. For example, a one-way upgrade from paid discount economy to Comfort Class within Turkey is 7,500 miles low season or 10,000 miles high season.
