Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer members will earn special upgrade points on all qualifying flights flown between April 1 and June 30, 2009, including all Singapore Airlines flights that are eligible to earn miles. Most booking classes will qualify for the special upgrade points, but some fares, such as coach class tickets in V, Q, G, N or T booking classes, will not be eligible. Members will earn the same number of upgrade points as the number of miles earned for a flight. For example, a member flying one-way in coach class from Singapore to Sydney will earn 3,912 miles and 3,912 upgrade points. Members earning a minimum of 25,000 points by June 30 will receive one upgrade voucher and an additional voucher for each 5,000 points earned above 25,000 points, up to a total of five vouchers for 45,000 points. Each upgrade voucher can be used once for one roundtrip flight. There are restrictions on the flight distance for vouchers earned at the lower point levels. You can view the number of points you’ve earned by logging into your KrisFlyer account. Members who credit their flight miles to a partner airline will still accrue special upgrade points. Members who have earned at least one upgrade voucher will be contacted via email by July 16, 2009 with instructions on how you can redeem your voucher online.
