THAI Airways Royal Orchid Plus has added hotel partners to the program, including the Global Hotel Alliance with nine member brands around the world such as Kempinski Hotels & Resorts and Omni Hotels. Members will earn 500 miles per qualifying stay at participating hotels. Members can now also earn 500 miles per stay at Pullman, the top Accor brand hotel catering to business travelers with locations in 23 countries across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. As a celebration of the new partnership, ROP members will earn triple miles on stays with a minimum two nights at select hotels until Aug. 31, 2008. Visit http://www.pullmanhotels.com to book.
ROP members can now use miles for more hotel choices in Asia Pacific with Accor starting at 12,000 miles for one night. Sofitel and Pullman have joined the International Collection.
Members residing in Thailand now have new choices for co-branded credit cards with KTC that offer no joining or annual fees. Every Baht 20 earns one KTC mile, which can then be converted to a ROP mile on a one to one basis. There are four KTC cards to choose from. Visit http://www.ktc.co.th
A minimum 500 miles is no longer earned with United, United Express and Ted — actual miles will be earned. Also, stays at Meritus Hotels and Resorts and New Otani Hotels will no longer earn miles.
