Golden Lotus Plus (GLP) members can now redeem awards up to 10 days before departure compared to three weeks in the past. Members will receive an email from GLP informing them that they have redeemed an award and the tickets can then be retrieved from the Vietnam Airlines office that the member has nominated on their Award Request. Members will also be able to check the status of their Award Request from any Vietnam Airlines office rather than the GLP center as before.

GLP members can now earn 500 points per night’s stay at all room rates with a new hotel partner, Six Sense & Spa with locations in Nha Trang, Ninh Van Bay and Dalat.

In celebration of a new route between Hanoi and Nagoya, Japan, members will earn 4,000 bonus points per sector in business class, 3,000 bonus points per sector in economy class in Y and 2,000 bonus points for booking classes W, S, B and H. The promotion is valid from Aug. 12 (with the inaugural flight) through Oct. 31, 2008.
