As of Jan. 1, 2008, Golden Lotus Plus (GLP) members can request one-way award tickets for 66 percent of the number of points needed for a roundtrip award ticket, special services fees will be waived when traveling on an award ticket (such as fees for a wheelchair, special food, etc.) and a regulation forbidding the selling of award tickets will be added to the terms of the program.

New members of GLP in South Korea will earn 2,000 bonus points upon enrollment. And all GLP members who purchase a roundtrip business class ticket between Vietnam and South Korea will get 19,200 points and be upgraded to a Gold tier membership, and when flying in coach, will earn double points. Offers are valid through Dec. 15, 2007.
