As an elite member, you can now request an upgrade award while relaxing in the Gulf Air lounges at Bahrain, Dubai, London Heathrow and Muscat airports. You should inquire at the service desk at least 60 minutes before flight departure. The lounge agent will check and tell you immediately if you have enough miles in your account to claim the upgrade, and then make the request for you. You will be informed if your request is successful and your seat will be confirmed at least 30 minutes before departure.
