Though the Virgin Blue Velocity program is still just weeks old, members may already sign up for a co-branded credit card.
National Australia Bank (NAB) customers will be able to earn points and redeem them for flights thanks to the newly launched Velocity National Credit Card.
The new cards allow customers to earn Velocity Points on everyday purchases with no annual card fee for the first year, no points cap, a special balance transfer rate and 44 days interest free on purchases.
According to NAB, based on an average annual credit card spend of $13,104 on a new Velocity National Credit Card, customers could earn enough points to earn a flight without increasing their everyday credit card use.
