IHG One Rewards is running a limited-time sale on reward nights. The promotion is valid for stays until December 16, 2022.
This sale on IHG reward nights is not open to all, unfortunately. You should automatically see the discount:
- Between October 24-28, 2022 if you are a Chase co-branded cardholder
- Between October 26-28, 2022 if you hold Platinum or Diamond status (but don’t have the credit card)
If you book a Points & Cash stay, you should see the 15% discount applied to both the points and the cash element. (however, IHG is known for increasing the cash element beforehand, so that the prices returns to normal in the “sale”) And, as always, you must remember that the cash element is charged immediately. If you choose to cancel later, you will receive your refund in the form of points.

Can I stack this promotion with the 4th night free benefit on my credit card?
No, this promotion only applies to stays of 3 or fewer nights.
(of course, your 4th night free discount is higher than 15%, so keep that in mind…)
Do Reward Nights Count for Promotions?
No. The reward nights you book at a 15% discount will NOT count for:

Bottom Line
If you are Chase cardholder and/or a Platinum/Diamond member, you should revisit any reward bookings with IHG – you might save some points by cancelling and re-booking.
