World of Hyatt to Add 30+ Hotels in Europe

Hyatt has announced that it will soon be adding 30+ hotels to its European portfolio, thanks to a collaboration with Germany’s Lindner hotels. This is great news for anybody who prefers Hyatt hotels, but wishes that the hotel chain had a larger footprint in Europe. An added bonus is that, unlike Hyatt’s tie-up with Small Luxury Hotels, these new hotels should provide full elite benefits to World of Hyatt Globalists…

Where are these new hotels located?

The majority of Lindner hotels are located in Germany. However, you can also find a Lindner hotel in Antwerp (Belgium), Bratislava (Slovakia), Interlaken (Switzerland), Mallorca (Spain), Prague (Czechia) and Vienna (Austria).

Most of these hotels will fall under Hyatt’s “JdV” brand, which basically allows hotels to retain their individual personality whilst becoming a part of a larger hotel chain.

Hyatt has not provided any details about when these hotels will formally join World of Hyatt.  Hopefully it will be faster than the European all-inclusive hotels that were bought as part of AMR Collection!  🙁

Bottom line

More World of Hyatt participating hotels – especially in Europe – is great news for me!  Do you agree? Let us know in the comments section…
