Hilton Honors has released details of its latest promotion. “Double Your Stay” will run from September 6 – December 31, 2022.
The promotion has two elements:
- Double points on all stays
- 2,000 bonus points for all stays that checkout from Monday to Friday

Is This a Good Promotion?
The Double Point Element
Hilton Honors issues 10 base points per US dollar spent. This promotion adds another 10 points per US dollar spent. However, since Hilton Honors points are among the least-valuable hotel points, this only works out to an additional 4-5% rebate.
That said, you can turbo-charge your points earning with the Aspire credit card. The card and its associated Diamond status allow you to earn:
- 10 base points per $
- 10 bonus points per $ due to this promotion
- 10 tier bonus points per $ from Diamond status
- 14 bonus points per $ from the credit card
44 points per $ can easily equate to a 20+% rebate.
The 2,000 Point Element
The additional 2,000 point bonus can also be quite appealing, especially for cheap, one-night stays.
With Hilton Honors, award stays also qualify for these bonuses.
However, it is worth remembering that Hilton Honors considers a “stay” to be one or more consecutive nights in the same hotel. So you need to change hotels every night if you wish to split a longer stay into individual “Hilton stays”.
Bottom Line
As usual, Hilton Honors’ fall promotion offers double points with something extra on top. 2,000 bonus points per stay is somewhat “travel hackable” – and a nice extra on award stays – but not particularly lucrative…
