Marriott loyalists can earn up to 45,000 bonus Rewards points every year by connecting with Marriott via social media.

With the company’s new Connect and Collect promotion, Marriott Rewards members can earn 750 bonus points initially for connecting their Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts with Marriott. Then, earn an additional 250 points for following Marriott on Twitter and Instagram. And thereafter, connected Rewards members will be given three or four promotional opportunities every month to earn additional bonus points.

Since this is new, we don’t yet know what those monthly promotions will entail. But 45,000 bonus points is a substantial offering, which would suggest that Marriott Rewards members will have to invest some time and energy to earn them. This is a promotion, not a giveaway.
It’s worth noting that these bonus points do not reset the clock on expiring Marriott Rewards points.
This is an intriguing offer, with the potential for significant earnings. It’s certainly worth signing up and earning the initial bonus points. Whether it’s worth pursuing longer term remains to be seen.
