Earn Up to 35 Percent Bonus Avios By Transferring Hotel Points
Here is a list of the minimum amount of points you can transfer from the following frequent guest loyalty programs:
- Carlson Hotels — 2,000 Club Carlson points
- Hilton Worldwide — 10,000 Hilton HHonors points
- Hyatt Hotels and Resorts — 5,000 Gold Passport points
- InterContinental Hotel Group — 10,000 IHG Rewards Club points
- Marriott International — 10,000 Marriott Rewards points
- Shangri-La — 2,500 Golden Circle points
- Starwood Hotels and Resorts — 2,500 Starwood Preferred Guest points
Keep in mind that points from the different participating frequent guest loyalty programs must be redeemed separately, as they cannot be redeemed together.

- The standard earn rate for loyalty points earned through the hotel loyalty programs varies according to the hotel partner. For example, Hyatt Gold Passport is one Avios for every 2.5 loyalty points converted. Therefore, if you convert 5,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points loyalty points, you will earn 2,500 Avios in total.
- Bonus Avios can take up to six weeks to appear in your account from the date of conversion.
- Bonus Avios cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Standard Avios are issued to your account in addition to bonus Avios.
- This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other British Airways or participating hotel partner offer or promotion.
- By taking part in this promotion, you agree to the personal data you supply being used by the promoters or their agents or subcontractors to administer this promotion, who will only use the information provided for the purpose of administering the promotion.

Summary
The mere act of sleeping in a bed in a hotel room could lead to a bonus of up to 35 percent additional Avios for you, which could mean more — or upgraded — flights for you…
…but you should consider taking advantage of this offer only if earning bonus Avios is really that important to you, rather than using your frequent guest loyalty program points for lodging on a future trip; or the conversion into a different frequent flier loyalty program which potentially offers more value for the transfer of your hotel points — such as perhaps transferring Starwood Preferred Guest points into a Virgin America Elevate account; earning bonus Elevate points for the transfer; and then getting JetBlue Airways to match or exceed the number of Elevate points you have in a new TrueBlue account.
In other words, do your research to ensure that you are getting the most value out of the frequent guest loyalty program points which you have earned.
