In as few as 18 nights, you can earn up to 35,000 bonus miles with Marriott Rewards when you join as a member — specifically, you can earn 1,500 bonus miles for your first qualifying stay; 1,500 bonus miles for your second qualifying stay; and 2,000 bonus miles for your third qualifying stay and every qualifying stay after that — in addition to base miles…
…but your qualifying stays must be within 90 days from the time of your enrollment; you must select an airline participating in this promotion, as members who elect to earn Marriott Rewards points are not eligible for this promotion; and you must be a new member of the Marriott Rewards frequent guest loyalty program, as existing members are not eligible to participate.
Upon enrollment, registration for the promotion is automatic. Bonus miles may be earned at hotel and resort properties which are part of all of the brands that participate in the Marriott Rewards frequent guest loyalty program. Nights spent while redeeming an award are eligible for elite status level credit.
Definition of a Qualifying Stay
A qualifying stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel or resort property — regardless of the number of times you check in or check out of that hotel or resort property — and qualifying stays which were booked and reserved during the promotion period prior to enrollment are not eligible; so you must enroll first.
Terms and Conditions
As used in these terms and conditions, miles means the earning currency — miles, points, or other earning currency — of the airline partners participating in this promotion. For participating airline partners whose earning currency is in kilometers, bonus miles earned will be converted into kilometers at a conversion rate of 1.6 prior to posting to your preferred airline account.
Marriott Rewards base mileage earned for qualifying charges is calculated based on the airline loyalty program’s earning currency. To review base mileage calculations, click here. Summary
At first, Marriott Rewards seemed to be emulating the promotions of some of its competition — such as this promotion to earn up to 50,000 points with Club Carlson or this promotion to earn up to 75,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points…
…but unlike those promotions in which any member can participate, this promotion is only valid for new members who enroll in the Marriott Rewards frequent guest loyalty program.
