Avianca LifeMiles have introduced lifetime elite status called CENIT. Members can earn CENIT 1 status, and become a lifetime Gold member, if you have been a LifeMiles member (or its previous program) for 15 continuous years or more, are at least 60 years of age, and if you have accrued at least one million qualifying miles on Avianca and AeroGal flights. Members who reach two million miles will earn CENIT 2, LifeMiles Diamond elite status.

And once you are recognized as a CENIT 1 member, if you then meet the requirements of Lifemiles Diamond elite status, you will receive the benefits of CENIT 2, Diamond status for life. CENIT qualifying miles must be achieved through travel on Avianca and AeroGal, not from travel on partner airlines, not even Star Alliance partners. CENIT members miles will not expire.
