Qantas is providing a new way to quench your thirst and spend your Qantas Frequent Flyer points. As a test last month at the domestic Qantas airport business lounge in Sydney, guests could receive a taste or a glass of wine from a self-serve wine dispenser when swiping their Frequent Flyer membership card. The points requirements for the wine ranged from 800 points for a taste and up to 6,500 points for a glass. The wines and redemption amounts vary. If this new lounge experience proves popular, more Qantas lounges may be equipped with the dispenser in the future.
