Kingfisher Airlines is now a member elect of oneworld and the process of officially joining the alliance is expected to be completed within 18 to 24 months. Kingfisher Airlines has already received approval from India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation to become part of the alliance. When the airline joins oneworld, the alliance will add 56 new destinations in India to its global network.
Kingfisher Airlines recently launched seven new international routes from Delhi to London, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Dubai and Kathmandu and Mumbai to Bangkok and Dubai. King Club members can earn double miles in coach, 5,000 bonus miles in Kingfisher First and 2,500 bonus miles in Kingfisher Class on the new routes.
