Privilege Club is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and is passing on the celebratory spirit to its members with award sales and bonus offers.
A frequent Freddie Award winner, the program began in the year 2000. “Our drive to offer you the most rewarding experience has resulted in a constantly growing list of partners and an ever-expanding array of benefits, while connecting you to over 80 global destinations on Qatar Airways,” says a Privilege Club representative.
To jumpstart the celebrations, the program is offering a token of gratitude for members continued support by offering all members the possibility to fly on an economy award ticket for just 10 percent of the normal Qmiles required on May 2–the program’s actual 10th anniversary. This 10 percent deal is available for travel on the one date only, if you fly back on a day other than May 2, normal Qmiles will apply for the return flight.
But that’s not all. Members will earn double Qpoints for Qatar Airways flights between May 1-31, 2010. Qpoints are the currency used to earn elite status so think of this as a fast track to elite. This offer is applicable to all members.
Another offer is an upgrade award sale. Members can enjoy Qatar Airways’ business class for 50 percent fewer Qmiles. You must book an economy class ticket (Y, B or L class) for travel between May 1-31, 2010 and upgrade to business (or first if there is no business class on the flight) at 50 percent of the normal Qmiles required.
And finally, if you want to rack up the miles this summer, you can earn 10,000 bonus Qmiles, in addition to the normal Qmiles, when you fly 10 sectors within 10 weeks from May 1 until July 10, 2010. A sector is any portion of your flight for which you are issued a boarding pass. For more information about the 10th year celebrations, visit http://www.qmiles.com
