South African Airways Voyager’s new credit card is here. The Voyager credit card offers double miles for the first three months that you own the card and you earn 5,000, 10,000 or 18,000 bonus miles on your first SAA flight purchase according to the card you own, Classic, Gold or Premium. Gold and Premium cardholders get free companion tickets (not upgradeable) when achieving spending thresholds within a year: Gold card must spend R80,000 and Premium R60,000. Miles will have an additional year of validity if cardmembers spend R40,000 or more per calendar year and Premium cardholders will have access to SAA lounges when traveling on SAA flights. Cardmembers receive two cards, American Express and Visa. The cards are fee free the first three months; annual fees are R300 for Classic, R550 for Gold and R1,650 for Premium.
