If the Azores is more to your liking, you can claim a three-night package from continental Portugal to the Azores for half the miles, 7,500 instead of 15,000 plus cash until May 31, 2007. Choose from two four-star hotel choices and enjoy airport transfers and 1,500 miles. Double occupancy rates start at 217 euros and extra nights may be purchased. Packages to Madeira are also available for half the miles, 7,500 instead of 15,000 plus a three-night stay for two starting at 175 euros until May 31 in a mountain view room at the Hotel Pestana Grand in Fruchai. The offer includes a buffet breakfast, one dinner during your stay, free use of the health club, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym, plus a free hotel shuttle to downtown Funchai. Members can also choose packages at the Savoy Hotel or the Royal Savoy starting from 215 euros for two plus 7,500 miles until May 31. The Savoy offers include a room upgrade, a welcome fruit basket with water, free use of the sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, gymnasium, tennis courts and reduced greens fees. A complimentary dinner for two is also included.
And finally, if New York appeals to you, you can claim a four-night package from continental Portugal to the city for half the miles, 22,500 instead of 45,000 plus cash. A three-star hotel for two starts from 466 euros and includes breakfast and a half-day tour of Manhattan; plus you’ll earn 1,500 miles. A four-star hotel package at The Roosevelt Hotel includes breakfast, airport transfers and a tour of uptown and downtown Manhattan, plus 3,000 miles. This package starts at 682 euros plus 45,000 miles.
