When doctors register for the program they are asked to provide their field of specialty, and after Lufthansa’s Medical Service has checked the registration, including the doctor’s license to practice medicine, they will earn a 5,000-mile bonus with their first flight as a member.

Once identified as a doctor and flying under a Miles & More number, the practitioner’s name will appear, along with their medical specialty, on the crew’s passenger list. This will enable crew members to discreetly ask for their services when needed.
