Low-cost airline Wizz Air has given its four-millionth passenger a voucher entitling him to unlimited travel over the airline’s route network for a year.
The Polish-Hungarian carrier has been operating for just over two years and has expanded its network to cover 40 destinations in Europe.
Frequent Wizz Air customer Gyongyi Poti was the four-millionth passenger. Said Poti: “It is such a surprise. I have never won anything in my life.”
The airline has just placed an order for 20 aircraft to expand its presence in the no-frills market and it aims to carry five million passengers before the year is out.
