Skywards, the frequent flyer program of Emirates and Sri Lankan, recently marked the loyalty of its growing group of Gold Members and a new partnership with the Dubai Autodrome by hosting a day of auto racing activities and go-karting.
The new partnership provided members with access to activities and the facility. Over the day, more than 300 members were provided with devoted attention from Dubai Autodrome staff at the Race & Driving School and the Kartdrome. Catering was available from Jebel Ali Hotel.
Access to the event was by special invitation to all Gold Members and up to two of their children over the age of seven. Within only a few days, the full allocation of places was snapped up.
In the past, events have included golf tournaments, jazz festivals, the exclusive Gold Members’ area at the Dubai World Cup and a sailing experience with Emirates Team New Zealand.
There are currently 10,300 Gold members in the UAE and 34,785 world-wide. Gold level of membership is attained by members who earn 50,000 miles or travel to 40 sectors.
