British Airways and Emirates will terminate their frequent flyer partnership on Saturday, Oct. 30.

British Airways Executive Club members and Emirates Skywards members will continue to earn miles on flights worldwide, operated by both airlines, up to and including that date.

Redemption bookings must be made by Oct. 30, and travel must be completed by May 31, 2005.

A recent review concluded that the partnership between the two programs no longer brings “maximum benefits” to customers. In a press release, the companies insisted that terminating the arrangement will allow both airlines to continue to invest in and focus on their own programs.
