All Nippon Airways and Suruga Bank have announced the creation of a new program that will allow home-loan borrowers at the regional bank in Shizuoka Prefecture to receive frequent flyer mileage from ANA according to the loan amount.

Under the program, which ANA and Suruga claim is the first of its kind in Japan, mileage will be offered every year for 10 years, commensurate with the loan outstanding. A borrower of 50 million yen, for example, would receive 25,000 miles for the first year.
