For the past few months, Spanish carrier Iberia has been actively improving its Web site. Most recently, the airline announced that, effective immediately, Iberia Plus members are able to book award flights online — an electronic perk that is still remarkably rare in frequent flyerdom. In addition, the program is now allowing members to claim missing credits online — again, a helpful but still unusual perk.

To draw customers to the site, Iberia Plus is offering 25 miles to new members who enroll online at http://www.iberia.com.
