Standard Chartered, Qatar’s first bank, has teamed up with MasterCard and Emirates to launch a co-branded Standard Chartered Skywards credit card.
The credit card gives the cardholder one Skywards mile for every four Qatari riyals spent on the card. Cardholders earn Skywards miles every time they use their card, and whenever they fly Emirates or their partner airlines.
The card also includes membership to Skywards Blue — the first tier of Emirates’ frequent flyer program.
Successful applicants for the Gold Card will receive 25,000 free Skywards miles, exchangeable for a free return ticket to Delhi, Mumbai, Karachi, Beirut and many other destinations.
Successful applicants for the Standard Card will receive 10,000 free Skywards miles, which is equivalent to a free return ticket to Bahrain, Oman or the UAE.
