Air Tahiti Nui announced that membership in its frequent flyer program, Club Tiare, which has previously only been offered to residents of Tahiti, is now available to all travelers worldwide.
Wally Suner, Air Tahiti Nui’s Vice President-North America, said that the airline will offer two types of memberships: Club Tiare Tahia, which is for individuals and has a U.S. $20 registration fee; and Club Tiare Fetii, which costs U.S. $40 but has the added benefit of providing accrual benefits for an entire family (by Air Tahiti Nui standards, a family consists of two parents and up to four children between the ages of 2 and 18).
Applications for membership in Club Tiare are available through the airline’s Web site at http://www.flyatn.com. Air Tahiti Nui offers 2,000 points to each new member of the Club Tiare program and the points are valid as long as the account is active. The card is valid for three years and renewal is free.
Air Tahiti Nui is also a partner with American AAdvantage. AAdvantage members may redeem their mileage for travel on Air Tahiti Nui from the U.S. to Tahiti as well as from Japan to Tahiti.
