ANZ has socked it to its Qantas ANZ Visa and Qantas ANZ Gold credit card users by drastically increasing its fees. The annual fee on its Visa card will increase to $40 from $27 and the fee to use the rewards program will jump from $33 to $55. That’s not all. Additional cardholders fees will jump to $65 from $10. Fees for Qantas Gold will also go up from a total of $100 to $150. We here in the states predict more people will say G’Day to Qantas ANZ and look to Qantas Citibank. No competition from Ansett Global Rewards credit cards is likely one of the reasons.

We should point out that the Qantas Telstra Visa card has won International Freddie Awards the past two years.
