Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan is still one of the best airline programs available, although many of us fear for its amazing award charts now that it has officially joined Oneworld and has started to cull partners such as Emirates. Nonetheless, picking up an easy 1,000 bonus miles is something to pay attention to.

All you need to do is… before midnight ET on June 11th, 2021, you need to install the “button”, a browser extension that automatically directs you towards earning Alaska miles on online spending. Using this button you must spend at least $25. (also before the 11th)

You must also keep the button installed for at least 30 days and must not have installed the button previously. The button can only be installed on Google Chrome and you should really keep the button installed until your bonus miles post.

But for 1,000 bonus miles, putting up with a browser extension and spending $25 on just about anything – except gift cards, which won’t qualify – will make a lot of sense.
