Air Canada Aeroplan – June, 30 2006

Aeroplan has announced the acquisition of a TTY machine — a terminal used for two-way text conversation over a telephone line — to facilitate communications between hearing-impaired members and the Aeroplan Contact Centre. With the TTY, also called a Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD), members will be able to book Aeroplan reward travel or request general information directly from a dedicated Aeroplan Contact Centre agent. The TTY service is available seven days a week, between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (EST). If you have a TTY and wish to get in touch with the Aeroplan Contact Centre, call 1-800-957-7439.
