American AAdvantage Citi Gold, Platinum Select and Platinum Select Business cardholders, here’s your opportunity to save thousands of miles on award travel to select cities around the globe.

Through Sept. 30, AAdvantage Citi Gold card members can travel within the continental United States for just 20,000 miles — 5,000 miles less than the normal award rate — and Platinum Select and Business card holders can travel in coach class on a domestic award ticket for 17,500 miles. Toronto and Calgary are also available at these same rates.

Several south-of-the-border destinations are available as well. For Gold cardholders, award travel to Cancun and other popular Mexican destinations will run 20,000 miles. Platinum Select and Business cardholders can get there for a mere 17,500 miles. Prefer the Caribbean? Gold cardholders can travel to La Romana, Dominican Republic, for 25,000 miles. Platinum and Business card holders only need 17,500 miles if traveling between Sept. 7 and Sept. 30.
