As more and more people get their COVID vaccine, the chances of international travel resuming become better and better. Perhaps British Airways knows a bit more than the rest of us, or simply knows that many people are desperate to travel again. No matter why… British Airways are offering some amazing fare deals in their Club World cabin – i.e. Business Class.  You don’t often see Business Class fares this low on direct flights to London!

But if you use BA’s cheapest fare finder, you might be able to narrow it down to your own departure airport…

Europe is Still Mostly Closed to American Citizens Though…

Many of the best fares can be found for Spring / early Summer 2021. Unless you have both a UK/European passport (or a close family member) and a desire to regularly keep track of lockdown policies over in Europe, you will probably want to aim for the autumn or winter.

That said, I think there is a decent chance that the UK and the USA will implement a travel corridor for vaccinated travellers within the upcoming weeks. (continental Europe is far less likely) With fewer tourists than normal, this might be your best chance to see London’s tourist attractions.  And if that doesn’t happen, you will still be covered by BA’s “Travel with Confidence” policy, giving you a voucher that can be used on future BA flights.

The Bottom Line

It might be a bit premature to speculate about the reopening of European travel. But at $1,400+ for a Business Class return ticket to London, you might want to place your bet…
