An Airbus A320-232 aircraft operating as EgyptAir flight 804 carrying 56 passengers and ten members of the flight crew departed from Paris at 11:09 in the evening local time and was reportedly flying over the Mediterranean Sea at an altitude of 37,000 feet when it suddenly and inexplicably disappeared from radar at 2:45 in the morning local time in Cairo, which was the destination of the airplane.
Weather conditions were reportedly good, with clear skies at the time of the incident.
EgyptAir Flight 804 Disappeared From Radar
Information posted to the official Twitter feed of EgyptAir confirms the loss of the flight.
An informed source at EGYPTAIR stated that Flight no MS804,which departed Paris at 23:09 (CEST),heading to Cairo has disappeared from radar.
