The Miami Beach EDITION hotel is set to open in the third quarter of this year. It is located on Collins Avenue on the site of the former Seville Beach Hotel and will feature a bowling alley and ice rink among other amenities.

There are currently two EDITION hotels, the first to open is in Istanbul (Category 7 awards; 35,000 points per night) and the second is in London (Category 9 awards; 45,000 points per night). EDITION hotels are in the pipeline to open in New York City and Bangkok in 2015.

Bottom line: We do not know which award category will be assigned to the Miami Beach EDITION. Some hotel properties offer PointSavers awards, saving up to 33 percent on specified dates.
