FFP Phishing

FFP Phishing

We’ve heard reports of another phishing scheme aimed at American Airlines AAdvantage members. The spam campaign informs members that they will receive $100 or $50 and 25,000 miles for completing a five-question survey. While the message contains telltale spelling and grammatical errors to make this attempt at phishing easy to identify, scammers may improve their writing skills and come up with more polished attempts to steal your personal information in the future. As always, be aware that phishing is common and frequent flyer program members have been known to be the target of these types of scams.
