Hyatt Random Acts

Hyatt Random Acts

You may be pleasantly surprised during your next Hyatt stay. Hyatt has announced that they will be “empowering hotel employees to perform what we’re calling random acts of generosity.”

Possible generous acts include Gold Passport picking up your bar tab, offering you a free massage or treating you and your family to breakfast. Hyatt Hotels CEO Mark Hoplamazian says the initiative is one way the hotel is working to provide authentic hospitality.

And if you want to make sure you receive a special benefit during your next stay, Hyatt is offering a promotion this summer and fall at Hyatt resorts. Hyatt Gold Passport members who stay at participating resorts between Aug 1, 2009 and Jan. 31, 2010 will receive a $150 food and beverage credit for lunch or dinner in participating hotel restaurants plus 5,000 bonus points. According to the fine print, the $150 credit can be used in conjunction with a future stay between Aug. 1, 2009 and Jan. 31, 2010 at participating Hyatt Resorts in the U.S. and the Caribbean. Mention offer code DEL5K when making reservations. There are 19 resorts participating in the promotion, including Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa, Hyatt Key West Resort & Spa and Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino. Advance reservations are required and members can earn a maximum of 5,000 bonus points. The $150 dining credit is not valid for room service charges or alcoholic beverages.
