For the second year in a row, the American Airlines American Way Magazine’s Road Warrior winner has decided to give away the winnings. Shannon Kenitz, Director, International Hyberbaric Association, is a road warrior who is the mother of a child who suffers from a rare mitochondrial disorder that kills most children by the age of two. Her daughter is now 10 and has received the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Ms. Kenitz has donated the two million Hilton HHonors points and one million American AAdvantage miles that she won to the H.O.P.E. (Hyperbaric Oxygen for Pediatric Endowment) Foundation. The foundation will use the miles and points for travel for patients and their families worldwide.
